A company from the maritime shipping industry

Location: Wrocław
Workstations: 85
Area: 1,300 m²
Design: Arch. Agnieszka Wysocka-Andrulewicz / Warsztat Projektowy

A modern office space for a company from the maritime shipping sector was created on 1,300 m² in the Centrum Południe complex in Wrocław. The author of the design is architect Agnieszka Wysocka-Andrulewicz from Warsztat Projektowy, and we had the pleasure of delivering this unique project.

The Client’s office was designed for 85 workstations, with employees’ comfort as a priority. It is a space where functionality meets design, and the interior atmosphere reflects marine inspirations closely tied to the company’s operations.

“The main colour theme of the project became navy blue and red – colours selected by the Client and aligned with their visual identity. These colours flow throughout the entire office, creating a cohesive and energetic composition. References to maritime themes are also visible in the details: the Shaw Contract carpet in the chillout zone imitates sea waves, and the seating found throughout the office resembles ship cabin furnishings,” says arch. Agnieszka Wysocka-Andrulewicz / Warsztat Projektowy.

The arrangement was developed based on the existing office layout, which had to be largely preserved – including the existing ceiling. This constraint, however, became a spark for creative solutions: mobile furniture and lighting elements were used, including SKY electric desks by Wuteh, RIM chairs, and HushMeet acoustic booths providing comfort and privacy. In the central part of the office, a chillout area with a kitchen and an agora was planned, serving as a space for integration and relaxation. Soft, colourful seating by Comforty and specialised audio-video equipment also allow this area to function as a studio for recording podcasts and corporate presentations. The kitchen is complemented by a large communal table surrounded by icons of Polish design by Paged and MDD, with a decorative lamp featuring greenery hanging above.

The interior is completed with wooden wall panels and abundant greenery, bringing warmth, improving acoustics, and creating a friendly atmosphere for work.

The new office arrangement not only supports creative and collaborative work but also effectively encourages employees to return from home office. Notably, the entire project was completed in just 60 days, which is an achievement we are particularly proud of.

The fluted and backlit blue reception desk was made by HOOF. Its beautiful colour refers to the Client’s brand colours.

The agora is a multifunctional space: it hosts meetings and, thanks to the audio-video system, also serves as a venue for presentations and podcast recordings. Bazalto poufs by MDD allow the space to be quickly rearranged as needed. The agora and shelving were made by HOOF.
