A modern office that reflects the dynamism of the automotive industry whilst promoting a comfortable working environment for the team – this is how the new headquarters of the Swedish Automotive Group in Poznań came into being, designed and fitted out by Hoof.
The inspiration for the office design for our client was the specific nature of the automotive sector – technology, movement and precision. The interior is based on a combination of cool materials (metal and glass) with soft elements (textiles and greenery). The concept of well-being was also a key consideration, which is why we ensured access to natural light, the presence of plants, and zones conducive to relaxation and informal meetings. The project encompassed the full scope of work – from concept to completion.
One of the greatest design challenges was balancing the open-plan space with adequate acoustic comfort and diverse work requirements. The key was to create zones with varying levels of privacy that remain visually and functionally cohesive.
The choice of furniture has been entirely tailored to the function of each space. In the communal areas, modular, soft forms have been used to encourage integration and flexible use – including a chill-out zone, which also serves as a team meeting space, equipped with mobile seating, pouffes and whiteboards for creative work. Individual workspaces and meeting rooms have been designed with a focus on ergonomics. The whole is complemented by offices and a functional kitchen. For this project, we supplied top-quality furniture from companies in our portfolio, including Acustio, Actiu, Bejot, Bujnie, Cleoni, Connection, Flokk, Fluffo, Kleiber, LD Seating, Maro, Narbutas and Profim.
The reception desk, which forms the central element of the reception area, also deserves special attention. Its form, inspired by a bearing, directly references the brand’s identity and the automotive industry.
Another distinctive feature of the project is the integration of greenery as a functional element – shelving units with plants and mobile plant stands not only organise the space but also act as natural partitions, improving acoustics and the quality of work. The whole creates a modern, refined office environment that meets the needs of a dynamic organisation and supports the team’s day-to-day operations.
Thank you to the Swedish Automotive Group for allowing us to carry out such a wonderful project!
