In the world of architecture and interior design, it is not only creativity that counts, but also access to reliable knowledge, the latest solutions and the exchange of experiences. This is precisely why the idea of Hoof Meet-Up was born – creative, more intimate gatherings tailored to specific audiences.
In April, our Showroom in Katowice became the venue for a unique event, during which we hosted the team from Ostrowscy Architekci Biuro Projektowe. It was a meeting designed to provide inspiration, practical knowledge and real support for architects in their daily work. In Katowice, we focused on three key areas: materials, furniture and ergonomics. Participants had the opportunity not only to expand their knowledge, but also to compare it with their own design experiences and discuss the challenges they face on a daily basis.
Expert knowledge in practice
The event programme was based on presentations by experienced industry experts:
- Jarosław Ilcewicz presented a fresh perspective on Shaw Contract’s designer carpets, demonstrating their potential in modern office spaces.
- Anna Siwczuk from MARO spoke about the balance between functionality and design, proving that ergonomics need not mean compromising on aesthetics.
- Marcin Kuder from Flokk focused on a practical approach to seating ergonomics – a topic that has a real impact on the comfort of office space users.
The power of relationships and sharing experiences
Networking is an integral part of the Hoof Meet-Up. The relaxed atmosphere encouraged conversation, asking questions and sharing experiences. It is often in moments like these that the best ideas are born.
Our team was also on hand, comprising: Natalia Handkiewicz – Branch Manager, HOOF Katowice; Klaudia Wilczyńska – Architect. Their presence allowed participants to gain a better understanding of our approach to design and collaboration with architects.
The showroom as a space for inspiration
Our Katowice showroom is not just a showroom – it is a place for meetings and testing solutions. During the event, participants were able to see materials and products in practice, which greatly facilitates design decision-making. The Meet-Up in Katowice is further proof that meetings tailored to specific needs work best. =
