Creative workshops for architects and the launch of Shaw Contract's new collections
Workshops on creating mood boards, a meeting with a Shaw Contract designer, the premiere of the latest carpet collections, a creative exchange of energy... This is how we can briefly describe the events from the HOOF MEET-UP series, which we organised at the beginning of March for architects from Wrocław and Warsaw.
The workshops we organised for architects attracted a large group of interior design professionals and culminated in the premiere of the latest carpet collections from our partner Shaw Contract: Understated Collection and Interlaced Collection. We made sure that it was not boring, and the enormous commitment of our guests meant that the day was filled with interesting conversations and creative activities.
Meeting with designer Kerry Deffley
One of the highlights of the HOOF MEET-UP programme was a meeting with Kerry Deffley, Shaw Contract's Design Manager for the EMEA region. Kerry shared her extensive experience and revealed the secrets behind the carpet design process. Participants had a unique opportunity to ask questions and learn where she draws inspiration for new collections and what the creative process looks like step by step. Kerry was accompanied by Tim Vandenbosch, Dealer Manager, East & Southern Europe, who shared the unique history of the brand with all participants.
The premiere Understated Collection and Interlaced Collection are new additions that are already impressing with their minimalist design and functionality. Participants had the opportunity to see these two collections live (one of which was a preview), which generated a lot of interest and numerous questions about their potential applications in various office spaces.
Moodboard creation workshops
During the workshops, architects had the opportunity to work with samples from the new collections and various other materials to create unique mood boards. It was an excellent opportunity to experiment with colours, textures and patterns, which allowed for an even better understanding of the aesthetics of the new floor coverings and creative fun. The premiere collections, Understated Collection and Interlaced Collection, are new additions that are already impressing with their minimalist design and functionality. Participants had the opportunity to see these collections in person, which sparked great interest and numerous questions about their potential applications in various office spaces.
Networking and dinner
Each day ended with a dinner together in an inspiring atmosphere, which was conducive to making new contacts and exchanging experiences. Creativity stimulates the appetite, and tasty food and good company complemented this special time.
