HOOF Meet-Up –creative journey through Kraków, Poznań and Gdańsk with Shaw Contract

We have had an intense and extremely inspiring spring, during which we visited three unique cities – Krakow, Poznań and Gdańsk – as part of the HOOF Meet-Up series of events. Each of these meetings was different, unique, rooted in the local context and at the same time consistent with what we value most at HOOF: design, authentic relationships and creative energy.

At each location, we invited architects and interior designers to moodboard workshops, during which participants had the opportunity to experiment with textures, colours and materials, creating original compositions inspired by current trends and their own imagination. The workshops were organised to coincide with the launch of two new carpet collections from Shaw Contract, our strategic partner.

Participants had the opportunity to see live carpet tiles from the Creative Connections collection, based on the aesthetics of quiet luxury, and the innovative Art + Science collection of hard floor coverings – durable and eco-friendly PVC-free vinyl flooring. Our special guest, Tim Vandenbosch, Dealer Manager East & Southern Europe at Shaw Contract, talked about the products, sharing his knowledge and inspiration from international markets.

Krakow – imagination and creative madness

In Krakow the creative atmosphere infected everyone from the very first minutes. The city of poets and artists inspired participants to experiment with form and detail. The atmospheric space of our showroom at Ślusarska Street became the backdrop for dozens of unique mood boards, which could easily become the starting point for many interior design projects. The premiere collections of Shaw Contract carpets were warmly received by guests. Not only their design but also their functionality aroused interest. 

Poznań – city of aesthetic experiences

Poznań welcomed us with its characteristic energy, so close to the local design community. A city with a vision and a passion for quality, it perfectly matched the atmosphere of the event. There was no shortage of discussions about trends, functionality and a responsible approach to design. The premiere collections of Shaw Contract carpets presented during the event attracted a lot of interest – especially the collection of PVC-free vinyl carpets from the Art + Science line. No wonder – it is an innovative, eco-friendly product made from recycled materials and 100% recyclable, which opens up new possibilities in sustainable interior design. Creative fun was intertwined with a substantive exchange of experiences. These are the kinds of meetings we like best.

Gdańsk – a wave of creative ideas

Gdańsk is known as a city of freedom, amber and architectural gems. Our showroom was filled not only with the latest collections of Shaw Contract carpets, but also with a wealth of other materials, which we used to create mood boards in the workshop section. The meeting took place in a relaxed, joyful atmosphere – it was fun, inspiring and extremely creative. The creativity of the architects during the workshops surprised even us – bold, expressive mood boards were created that will remain in our memory for a long time..
